Art Deco Chrome & Bakelite Cake/Pie Server by Chase – c.1930’s

Description

Beautiful chrome cake server with inset swirl Bakelite handle.
Chase entered the household items market in the 1930’s and designers such as Russel Wright creating items.
They discontinued this line to participate in wartime production in the 1940’s.
This is in excellent pre-owned condition. It probably was never used and stored in a box.
The darker shadows are fingerprints.
